I am a young professional web manager, former wine industry insider, and nerdy wine lover.

This blog is about most things related to wine. Sure, there are several other sites out there that are pretty much the same exact thing as this site, but I hope to differentiate myself by offering unique reviews that are relevant to the bargain hunters, as well as the heavy hitters who drink the expensive stuff.

Here are a few opinions that I have about wine:

1. Wine is meant to be drunk, not collected.

2. White wine is just as satisfying as red wine.

3. "Perfect" wines are relative.

4. Most wine regions have something unique and delicious to offer.

5. There is no "best wine", see rule 3.

6. Wine is the perfect compliment to food.

7. Wine is good for you.

8. Wine scores are opinions.

9. The only way to gain great wine knowledge is to drink it.

10. Wine is nothing to be anxious about: Open, pour, drink.
